My friend and I were talking the other night
What he told me wasn't such a cheerful delight
His preacher friend said if you need me just phone
But when he called for prayer he wasn't at home-

He said his friend always carried a cell phone
Just for emergencies in case he wasn't at home
But he just screened his number never did call
Making him feel as not important at all-

My church going friend don't lie to others

And please be there for a friend when he calls-
