He Is God

Who makes it rain on a sunny day
And puts a smile on a child's face at play
Who makes the flowers blood in the spring
And gives the canary a voice to sing-

Who makes the oceans a beauty of blue
And moistens the grass with a morning dew
Who gives the cold afternoon heat from the sun
And watches a bunch of puppies playing having fun-

Who picks up a wino off the street
And sobers him up giving him something to eat
