His Love

He made the heartfelt sacrifice
His Son Jesus paid the costly price
It was in the name of love
Especially sent from up above-

The heartbreak He went through for us
To give up His only Son that we could trust
Who choose to go to that ole' rugged cross
So that all human life wouldn't be a loss-

I thank Him to this very day
That He heard my mama pray-

I'm going to hold on as a winner
I'll be praying for all of us sinners
