Holy Night

Born in a manger on Christmas Day
The inns were full sending Him away
He gave up His throne from up above
Coming down among us sharing His love-

The shepherds watching their flocks at night
When they saw the star becoming it's light
They knew a savior had been born
In God's words the prophets had forwarned-

Holy night, holy night
The star shining it's awesome light
Holy night, holy night
The King had made His earthly flight-

The wise men came bearing gifts of gold
To the One who would save their souls
Oh! what burdens He would bear at that cross
To redeem all mankind from being lost-

Let's enjoy this time with family and friends
Sharing the love before it all ends
And let us all remember the true reason
Why we now celebrate the Christmas season-
