Dear Lord thank you for the gift of music
I hope by Your grace I don't lose it
As long as You give me the words to write
I'll always try bringing out Your holy light-

Why Lord would you give me this gift
I know there are better writers to lift
Sometimes I feel like my songs are not right
But guiding my friend Phil brings out the light-
