Well I'm getting just a little bit older
This ole' world is getting a lot more colder
I know time is getting short for me
But this ole' body is setting my spirit free-

I tried being the best I could be
But I came up short that I couldn't see
I know things will work out just fine
And now I got Heaven on my mind-
