Let Us Not Forget (Remembering 9/11)

It was about nine am early Tuesday morning
Terrorist struck our land without any warning
Airplanes slammed into New York's twin towers
And a lot of lives was lost in just a few hours-

A lot of police and firemen rushed to help
Some didn't know it would be their last step
The buildings came crashing down on their lives
They didn't have time to say goodbye to their wives -

Let us not forget, let us not forget
The lost lives of 9/11

To pray for protection from Heaven-

September 11th, 2001 we will never forget
Some say it could have been prevented now regret
But all Americans came together and united we stand
We will continue to pray as our military defends our land-
