I was headed down a darken road
I was carrying the devil’s heavy load
Thinking I was having a lot of fun
But ole' satan had me on the run-

Waking up with the sun in my eyes
A hangover headache I started to realize
I am headed down the wrong way
Hoping to find something in another day-

Light of the cross, light of the cross
The devil was my boss

Jesus saved me from being lost-

Going down on my knees in prayer
I found out that God is still there
He showed me the light of the cross
And now Jesus is my new boss-
