Lighting The Way

As I travel down that long dark road
Carrying a guilt ridden worn out load
Are they any relief up ahead in sight
When will I ever come into the light-

The darkness is always lurking around
It's hard to find any solid ground
But I keep traveling the same old road
With the burden getting heavier with each load-

Lighting the way, lighting the way
He did it all for me

Thank the Lord He showed me the light
Just up ahead the cross is in sight
My hope for eternal life waits for me
For my Savior paid it all at calvary-
