Trail Of Tears

They led him up to Calvary's Hill
A lot of His precious blood was spilled
With tears of hurt in His mama's eyes
She didn't understand or could realize-

With six painful hours on that cross
Each drop of His blood was shed for the lost
Before He said it is finished it is done
He looked to His mother and said John's your son-

Trail of tears, trail of tears
And his mama followed Him

He was crucified for them-

At three the clouds grew dark all around
Lightening and thunder then the rain pouring down
The ground opened up the dead started walking
Some knew now that Jesus' Father was talking-
