Travelin' Feet

Up and down the road walking as we go
No matter in the rain, sleet, or snow
With a trash bag as our new raincoat
To work and school hoping we don't get soaked-

Saturday is our regular laundry day
Loaded on our shoulders we're on our way
Getting us a drink and a snack next door
At our favorite place the food barn store-

Travelin feet, travelin feet
Up the road as we go

In the rain, sleet, and snow-

I get us up early morning for Sunday school
Half a mile up the road to learn the golden rule
When we get back home in that spiritual mood
It's a real blessing sitting down to home cooked food-
