Yesterday Jesus took all my troubles away
I thank him that I now live in today
He washed my sins with His precious blood
On mount Calvary as His mama's tears flood-

Yesterday Jesus was someone I didn't know
I was hurting and wondering where to go
I am glad that He found me today
And has forgiven me of all my yesterdays-
